Quillix System Requirements
These represent the minimum recommended hardware and software requirements for running a Quillix System.
System Configuration
The Quillix Server, Quillix Web Server, and the Database Server can be run on the same capable hardware. In high-volume production environments however, it is recommended that each run on a dedicated server.
Quillix Server Minimum Configuration
- Windows Server 2012 or higher, 64-bit
- 3 GHz dual-core processor or better
- 8 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
Quillix Server Recommended Configuration
- Windows Server 2016 or higher, 64-bit
- 3 GHz quad-core processor or better
- 16 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
Quillix Web Server Minimum Configuration
- Windows Server 2012 or higher, 64-bit (use requires removal of 'removeServerHeader' tag from web.config)
- 3 GHz dual-core processor or better
- 8 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 8.0 or higher
Quillix Web Server Recommended Configuration
- Windows Server 2016 or higher, 64-bit
- 3 GHz quad-core processor or better
- 16 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 10.0 or higher
Quillix Database
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher with appropriate hardware configuration
- Azure SQL with appropriate hardware configuration
- MySQL 5.5 or 5.6 with appropriate hardware configuration (tested with MySQL ODBC Driver)
- MariaDB 10.1 or higher with appropriate hardware configuration (tested with MySQL ODBC Driver)
Quillix Scan
- Microsoft Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7
- Dual-core or better processor
- 4 GB RAM or more
Important! File Import through Quillix Web is supported for all Operating Systems. Scanning with the use of Quillix Scan is supported only on Microsoft Windows.
