Testing Communication with RightFax Server

Use the Diagnostics tab on the Quillix Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box to test the communication between the Quillix system and the RightFax Server that your Quillix Fax for RightFax input source is configured to monitor. Refer to Configuring Quillix Fax for RightFax to learn how to access the Quillix Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box through a Quillix server group.

To access the Diagnostics tab, the computer that is running Quillix Process Manager must be able to connect to the RightFax Server. Also, the RightFax Server must be running.

  1. Once the Quillix Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box opens, review the configuration settings on the General Info, Fax Mailbox and Select Indexes tabs. If you make any changes to those settings, click Apply to save them prior to running the communication test.
  2. Click on the Diagnostics tab.
  3. Click Configuration Test.

The test results appear in the text area located just below the test button. Information similar to the example shown below indicates that Quillix is communicating properly with the RightFax Server:

  1. Click OK to close the configuration dialog box.
