Troubleshooting Quillix Fax for FAXCOM

Problem

“Error in GetBatch: Error #2170 Error was: Invalid user type for this login method.”

If you receive this message in the Quillix Audit Log, the Quillix service attempting to use Quillix Fax to access the FAXCOM Server is running under a local system account. The Quillix Server needs its own account with the proper rights to communicate with the FAXCOM API.

Solution

1. Launch the Services administrative tool on the Quillix Server computer.
2. Locate the Quillix Server service and open its Properties dialog box.
3. Click on the Log On tab.
4. Enable a specific account to use with the Quillix service. Do not use the local system account.
